HP Touchpad is Hewlett-Packard’s official tablet PC.  It comes in 16GB and 32GB models.  At first look, it doesn’t look too different from the tablet PCs released by competing companies, it’s black and sleek with a 9.7” display with LED backlight.  However, if you finally get a hold of it, you’ll appreciate the slightly concave shape which makes it easier to hold. It is equipped with a 1.3 camera and a microphone for video-recording and calls. One of the great features of the HP Touchpad which is its edge over other tablets is that it’s capable of wireless printing as well. It is powered by WebOS 3.0 and has a built in Adobe flash support, a feature missing in competing brands.

American police drama, Blue Bloods will be back for a second season on CBS. This series which stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg. Bridget Monahan and others debuted on primetime TV September 24 of last year. Blue Bloods is centered on the Raegan family. The Raegans are Irish-Americans who work in the New York Police Department; Frank (played by Tom Selleck) is a police commissioner, Danny (played by Donnie Wahlberg) is a detective, Erin (played by Bridget Monahan) is a city district attorney, Jamie (played by Will Estes) is a rookie police officer and Henry (played by Len Cariou) is a retired police commissioner and the father of Frank.  The show was praised not only for the great acting of the actors but also for the morals upheld by the senior Raegans and the show’s’ focus on family.  It was voted as one of the 5 best new shows of 2010.  The second season is scheduled to premiere on CBS, September 23.

It was supposed to be a game to foster stronger US-China ties. However, the game between the Georgetown Hoyas and the Bayi Rockets ended with tackles and heated exchanges of punches.  It was not the first time China was involved in an on-court fight. Chinese basketball players have reportedly been fined several thousands of dollars for bad behavior on the court.  Though it’s common for sports games to become really intense, the Chinese team certainly presented themselves in a negative light in this game.  US Vice President Joe Biden watched one of the friendly games earlier in the week.  Good thing, he was not around to witness how badly the American team was treated not just by the opponents but the game officials as well.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is an American reality TV series produced by Bravo TV.  It’s the latest series in The Real Housewives franchise. Just like the other Real Housewives series, it features a lot of catfights, parties and over the top spending by the incredibly rich “housewives.” In the last season of TRHBH, Camille got dumped by her husband, Kelsey Grammer.  This got a lot of entertainment news time because not too long after that Kelsey’s new girlfriend was revealed to be pregnant.  The biggest news perhaps after that, was the suicide of Russel Armstrong, the husband of Taylor who’s one of the show’s stars.  There are talks that he will be edited out of the show in respect to his family. The latest season of TRHBH is scheduled to premiere first week of September.
