Blue Bloods Will Be Back for a Second Season

American police drama, Blue Bloods will be back for a second season on CBS. This series which stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg. Bridget Monahan and others debuted on primetime TV September 24 of last year. Blue Bloods is centered on the Raegan family. The Raegans are Irish-Americans who work in the New York Police Department; Frank (played by Tom Selleck) is a police commissioner, Danny (played by Donnie Wahlberg) is a detective, Erin (played by Bridget Monahan) is a city district attorney, Jamie (played by Will Estes) is a rookie police officer and Henry (played by Len Cariou) is a retired police commissioner and the father of Frank.  The show was praised not only for the great acting of the actors but also for the morals upheld by the senior Raegans and the show’s’ focus on family.  It was voted as one of the 5 best new shows of 2010.  The second season is scheduled to premiere on CBS, September 23.
