Barnes and Noble is the largest book retailer in the United States which was founded by Charles M. Barnes, William Barnes and G. Clifford Noble.  Almost all the Barnes and Noble bookstores are like department stores with several floors.  They do not only carry reading materials, there are other merchandise available like gift items, dvd movies and music cds. Most stores also have the famous Starbucks Coffee and Cheesecake Factory.  Barnes and Nobles stores have free wi-fi so people are encouraged to really stay instead of just accomplish their shopping. Also, Barnes and Nobles stores are known to be incredibly involved in the causes of the communities they belong to, they hold drives to support education for children.  Currently, there are 717 Barnes and Noble bookstores all over the US and 637 college bookstores.
