Oprah Winfrey exits daytime TV, and enters a slew of hosts wanting to take over. Rosie O’Donnell and Katie Couric have made their bid. Now, Survivor host Jeff Probst joins the fray. We’re used to Probst dealing with mostly unknown “castaways”, but in his new show he will be dealing with newsworthy people. It will definitely be a huge change for fans of the bedimpled, khaki-wearing host. Will CBS win the challenge to dominate daytime TV with its bid? Incidentally, Probst will continue to host and produce Survivor.
