Our appetite is definitely unpredicted. Sometime we feel hungry, but in the next minute, it’s gone. And due to many people who don’t know when to eat, end up eating a lot more calories than what their body really needs. So here’s a few things you need to remember when you feel like eating, and here’s how to differ hunger from cravings. First, look for a slow build. When you see yummy food on the table you’ll feel hungry physically, but emotionally you’re not. Second, listen for the growl. When you’re truly hungry, your stomach will growl to tell you that its really hungry and it needs food. Third, ask yourself what you want to eat. If you want to eat chocolates rather than meat, the you’re totally not hungry, you’re craving!. Fourth, wait for 10 minutes. When you feel like hungry, drink water first then wait for 10 minutes, if you still feel hungry, then you really are. Fifth, drink 8 glasses of water everyday. Many people confused hunger with thirst. They think their hungry, when their body really needs fluid. Sixth, stick something in your mouth. If you feel full after eating a candy, lollipop or a gum, then that means you’re only craving.
