Ryan O’Neal guested in Piers Morgan’s show where he gave his theory as to the true cause of Farrah Fawcett’s cancer. Fawcett and O’Neal were romantically involved from 1979 to 1997. They took up where they left off in 2001 and were together until Fawcett’s demise in 2009. O’Neal suggested that the stress from dealing with him and his family caused the actress’ illness. Fawcett was known to lead a healthy lifestyle when she was diagnosed with cancer. She did have many family problems including the incarceration of her only child Redmond for drug charges. O’Neal currently stars in a reality show with erstwhile estranged daughter Tatum O’Neal.
