Michele Bachmann is presently the representative of Minnesota’s sixth congressional district.  She was born in Waterloo, Iowa but spent her growing up years in Anoka, Minnesota. She’s the first Republican to represent Minnesota in Congress.  She’s married to Marcus Bachmann who’s a clinical therapist and like her, a graduate of Regent University. They have five children but served as foster parents to 23 children, all girls.  Michele Bachman is a Republican nominee for the 2012 US presidential election. She announced her candidacy on June 27, 2011 in her hometown, Waterloo, Iowa.
