The British singer is busting these days. She recently got married and is pregnant for the third time around. Lily Allen married Sam Cooper on June 11th and she’s already a couple of months along. Her bump was barely seen in her wedding dress and was positively beautiful and radiant. Allen and her new husband whom she began dating 2009, revealed they were infanticipating to their wedding guests. It’s the second time that Allen got pregnant by Cooper. The couple got engaged in Bali over Christmas of 2010. Their wedding was held in Cranham, Gloucestershire over the weekend. Allen’s overjoyed and can’t wait for the arrival of her baby.

Basically Chris Rock just badmouthed fellow Saturday Night Live alum, Tracy Morgan but also defended him by trivializing Morgan’s homophobic statements. Rock, who’s certainly not afraid of being controversial, he didn’t want to live in a world where Morgan can’t say offensive statements. His support of Morgan naturally didn’t sit well with the gay and lesbian community but he’s quick to reverse his tone regarding the matter. Rock and Morgan worked together on the Longest Yard a couple of years back and pretty much move in the same circles. Morgan who, we guess is known in his circle for being uncouth shouldn’t be taken seriously is what Rock’s trying to say. He certainly doesn’t support Morgan’s statements and believes he was certainly out of line. Morgan’s 30Rock co-stars also expressed their sentiments about the matter. Morgan has issued an apology for his homophobic rants and everyone is hoping he truly understood the gravity of his statements and his apology’s sincere.

The former Star Trek star, George Takei only feels sorry for comedian, Tracy Morgan. Morgan, who’s coming under fire for his homophobic rants has been labeled, “insecure and sad,” by Takei who played Sulu on Star Trek and is openly gay. Takei came out in 2005, got married to his partner, Brad Altman in 2008, and is an HRC (Human Rights Campaign) spokesperson tweeted in response to Morgan’s homophobic statement. At a recent stand-up show in Tennessee, Morgan supposedly said, he would stab his son if he was gay. Parents of bullied gay children and GLAAD are irate about the matter as well, especially after a Rutgers student committed suicide after his roommate leaked a video of him engaging in sexual relations with his boyfriend. Though Morgan already apologized about the matter, GLAAD feels it’s not enough. The organization recommended that the comedian meet with families who lost a loved one to gay violence and send a message that violence towards gays is no laughing matter.

John Edwards, the former US senator who admitted he had extra-marital affairs is being charged with six counts of felony for violating campaign finance laws. He reportedly used campaign funds, amounting to $925k, to hide his then pregnant mistress, Rielle Hunter. Edwards who recently lost his estranged wife, Elizabeth Edwards to cancer maintains that he did not use the part of his campaign funds for the said reason and he did not violate any law. During his campaign, Edwards was made to appear as a devoted husband and father. Hunter, who was then hired to shoot footage of behind- the-scenes events in Edwards’ life, claimed that her relationship with the former senator began 6 months prior to the filming of the documentary. Edwards initially denied having an affair with Hunter but eventually came clean about it when more and more evidence surfaced supporting the reports. He also said he wasn’t the father of Hunter’s child whom she gave birth to in 2008 but also admitted otherwise shortly after.

Indiana University student, Lauren Spierer has been missing for more than 10 days now. Her parents have been rounding up the morning talk shows asking for help in locating their missing daughter. Spierer, who was last seen at a bar near her apartment and walking home alone, went missing early this month after a drinking spree with peers. Underage drinking is being blamed for this occurrence. IU is reportedly consistently ranked as one of the top party universities in the country, even placing first in 2005. There are bars scattered around the campus which draw in a lot of students who just want to have fun, especially over the weekends, Spierer was one of them. Spierer who’s twenty years  old and from Greenburgh, New York reportedly left her cellphone and shoes at Kilroy’s Sports Bar at around 2:30 am. The bar is quite near the Spierer’s apartment and the area is known as a pretty safe place so it was understandable why she felt comfortable walking the short distance. Her disappearance once again heightened the concern about college living across the country.

We are all quite obsessed with the royal family and with its new addition, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. In her first public event as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate proved once again that she’s a rising fashion icon. At the Absolute Return for Kids’ 10th Anniversary gala, all eyes zoned in on her as she arrived with husband, Prince William, in a sequin gown by British designer Jenny Packham. The Duchess looked stunning as always, charming everyone with that signature smile of hers, driving paparazzi in a photo frenzy. At event, Prince William delivered a speech and received a standing ovation, surely making his new bride very proud. This weekend, the new royal couple celebrated along with the rest of the royal family, the 90th birthday of the Queen’s husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. We’re hoping Kate’s adjusting to her role as the newest royal well for her life’s just bound to get even more crazily busy in the future.

Another best-selling book series has been turned into a film. Judy Moody and the Not So Bummer Summer which stars Jordana Beatty, is about third-grader Judy Moody who initially had her summer all planned out, only to end up with a summer she didn’t at all expect. With her best friends off to exciting vacations, Judy was left with Stink, her little brother and his friend. To make matters worse, her parents decided to go off to California and leave Judy and her brother to the care of an aunt they’d never met before. Of course the real adventure started when their Aunt Opal, played by the lovely Heather Graham, appeared. The movie, sad to say, failed to deliver and those who’ve read the book would surely say, how they saw the story in their head was so much better. Judy Moody and the Not So Bummer Summer provided Beatty, who plays the lead character some shining moments but they weren’t enough to save the film from being a dud.

Jennifer Hudson had to miss her morning singing commitment due to food poisoning. The singer-actress who’s been rocking her new slimmer body was rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe abdominal pains. She was supposed to appear on CBS’ “Early Show” to promote her new album but she had to beg off of that one. Hudson however, managed to perform on “Good Morning America” but failed to make an appearance on the rival morning show when she started feeling sick. Her reps however reported that she was released right away after treatment. Hudson is still recovering but will resume her promotional activities soon. Hudson rose to stardom through her Oscar-winning performance in the movie, “Dreamgirls.”

If Neil Patrick Harris didn’t endear himself to you as Doogie Howser MD 20 years ago, then you’d be very surprised how adorable he turned out to be. His comedy is great and his talent is not hype, but the real deal. It also seems he’s the current favorite when it comes to awards shows. If you watched the Tonys this year, then you need not ask why. He was brilliant. He was funny, witty and incredibly charming. He’ll remain in demand as long as he keeps it up.
