Tori Spelling just had a scare. The former Beverly Hills 90210 star turned reality TV mom was involved in a car accident. She was driving her two children to school when she spotted a paparazzo tailing her. She collided with the wall of the school as she tried to get away. Incidentally, Spelling is due to give birth to her third child this fall. No one was injured, but the actress still went to the doctor to make sure that she and the baby were fine. She said that the paparazzo didn’t stop his pursuit even after the accident.

Mildred Baena, the other woman embroiled in the divorce drama between Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, has finally spoken. Incidentally, she has also posed with her 13-year-old son for a Hello! magazine issue. She says she wasn’t initially sure who was her son Joseph’s father. However, as he grew older, the resemblance to the Terminator became more apparent. Baena relates that Shriver was strong when confronted with her confession. The former housekeeper insists that Schwarzenegger was a good man despite all that happened. For sure, there is nothing like a good cheating man!

Do not be devastated by this news, but it seems Hugh Hefner’s engagement to Crystal Harris is off. The break-up drama happened over the phone. Harris, who is young enough to be Hef’s great-granddaughter, dumped the Playboy magnate after a nasty argument. I know nobody saw the end of this relationship coming, but try to get over the shock. It was certainly very dramatic to end things 5 days before the wedding. It sounds like a plot, but whether everything was contrived or not, Hef always knows what he’s doing. Incidentally, Harris, who aspires to be a singer, is being linked to Jordan McGraw, a record producer.

You wouldn’t be alone in thinking that maybe there’s more to MTV Teen Mom Amber Portwood’s behavior than postpartum hormones. She’s currently confined in a hospital, following rumors that she tried to commit suicide. Burdened with the responsibilities of being a teenage mother and the stress from being a reality show star, Portwood has more than once lost it, and in front of the camera too. She has been charged with domestic battery for the violent behavior she displayed against on-again-off-again fiancé Gary Shirley. The camera has caught multiple episodes of Shirley being slapped, kicked and choked by the embattled reality star. Portwood did not appear hurt in anyway, but she’s under observation. Somebody get this kid some help before something even more serious happens!

For a time Amanda Bynes was a super hot commodity. Then she seemed to tire of it all and announced that she was taking a break. She did start in the business very young, landing her first gig at 7 years old. After some time, here she is again trying to revive the public’s interest in her. She’s tweeting candid stuff about herself. She claims they’re not anything personal, just stuff she would normally say in an interview. She says that she’s not comfortable talking about her dating life, but when she’s finally getting married, she’ll be very open about that.

Betty White has always been adorable. She was the most beloved of the Golden Girls and she has always had a sort of cute charm that stayed with her throughout the years. However, she has never this much of an “It Girl” in her youth. Considered one of the industry’s most in demand personalities, she is virtually everywhere. Some have observed that she might be overdoing it and the public might lose interest. Others are quick to counter that at 89, she should grab all the opportunities offered her. Who knows how much time she has left, right? However, as she shared in Dave Letterman’s show, she knows the secret to a long life: try not to die. Well said.

Children of the ‘70s and ‘80s, brace yourselves for a happy surprise! The Cabbage Patch Kids are about to make a comeback. Remember the cartoon, the absolute frenzy for the toys? It’s possible that we are about to relive that. The cute orphans are rumored to be in the works to star in a TV special. Galen Walker of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fame has bought the rights. Could the Garbage Pail Kids be far behind?

We all loved her as The Nanny. Who could forget that incredibly nasal voice emitting from the lovely package of womanhood? Later on, she created another show (Living with Fran) premised on the relationship dynamics between a middle-aged woman and a younger man. Unfortunately, this didn’t achieve the success that The Nanny did. This came out before Cougar Town. She has revealed to the public some very painful ordeals she’s had in her life, including her divorce from Peter Marc Jacobson, who has admitted to being gay. Drescher is now working on another TV show (Happily Divorced), which is inspired by her current relationship with Jacobson, who remains to be her best friend.

Jack White of The White Stripes and his wife, Karen Elson are getting divorced and celebrating it. Let’s just say that’s how those twisted rockers do it. When they got married in a canoe in Manaus Brazil, White’s ex-wife Meg (and White Stripes drummer) was the maid of honor, the wedding was officiated by a shaman. The not so estranged couple invited family and close friends to celebrate their 6th wedding anniversary and the finalization of their divorce this coming weekend. The soon-to-be divorced couple has a daughter and a son. White and Elson met on the set of “Blue Orchid”, a White Stripes music video. They are based in Tennessee.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey have been together for over five years now and got engaged November of last year. The couple has not yet set a date but Lachey is already talking babies. He’s quite vocal about his intent on getting started on a family straight after their wedding. When the wedding will be is still a mystery, both Lachey and Minnillo are busy with their respective careers while carefully taking care of the details of their upcoming nuptials. They had their wedding shower in May at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. The former 98 degrees member and the former Miss Teen USA filmed Lachey’s video,  What’s Left Of Me” after his divorce from his first wife, Jessica Simpson and began dating not long after. Currently, Lachey is the host of “Sing Off” while Minnillo’s often a guest correspondent for entertainment programs.
