Galliano Pays for Racial Slurs

John Galliano’s career is in a downward spiral after an unfortunate night at a Paris bar. Dior’s erstwhile brightest star designer finds himself in violation of French laws about public insults based on religion, race or origins. He was filmed hurling profanity and racial insults. Galliano is shocked at his behavior and claims that he has no memory of the entire affair. Claiming that he himself was a victim of prejudice for being gay, he insists that no discriminatory thoughts had ever crossed his mind while sober. He attributes his unfortunate conduct to addiction to pills and alcohol. He resorted to drink as a way to relieve stress and escape from the pressures of his job after the death of both his partner and his father.

 

Stodden-Hutchinson Union Creeps out Most of the Public

May-December affairs are usually controversial. The case gets even creepier when one of the parties involved is a minor. Country singer Courtney Alexis Stodden recently wed actor Doug Hutchinson. Stodden is sixteen, 35 years junior to Hutchinson’s 51. The minor’s parents were in favor of the union, making it legal. Stodden’s father is actually 4 years younger than her groom, but he states that he couldn’t wish for a better man for his daughter. His wife, however, in a fit of non sequitur started spouting about how their daughter is a good Christian girl and has never had plastic surgery in her life. We can only hope the best for them.

 

Ashlee Simpson So Over Pete Wentz

It seems it’s officially over for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. Some had been hoping for a reconciliation ever since the starlet filed divorce papers. After all, word has it that Wentz wasn’t a willing party. However, Simpson has been spotted smooching and getting all sorts of cozy with Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza. Before that she was also seen canoodling with Craig Owens, another musician and family friend. Wentz claims that he’s okay with it and that he remains friends with Simpson. The most important thing was to put their son Bronx first.

 

Bristol Settles Scores in Memoirs

Bristol Palin offers some juicy revelations in her memoirs “Not Afraid of Life”. To be 20 years old and writing your memoirs! I suppose it has been a life less ordinary than others. It also pays to have Sarah Palin for a mother. Anyway, the biography, which Bristol co-wrote with Nancy French, discusses losing her virginity to the gnat who sired her baby Tripp among other things. Incidentally the gnat who goes by the name of Levi Johnston is also coming out with his own memoirs soon. Bristol seems pretty fearless with regards to the content of her book. She doesn’t only settle score with the gnat; she does it with the McCains too.

 

Prince William Went to Work on Birthday

As though to make up for the lavishness of his wedding, Prince William spent his birthday as he would any regular workday. He is based in Anglesey with his wife, Kate, for the time being on account of his work with the RAF search and rescue. He and Kate scheduled to visit Canada and the US at the end of June. This would be their first foreign trip together after their delayed honeymoon in Seychelles a week after the wedding. The young prince is commended for following the example of his grandfather’s low-key birthday celebration. Prince Philip recently celebrated his birthday doing charity work. Admiration for the young prince continues to grow and he is favored to be the next king of England. Prince William is 29 years old.

 

Ryan Theorizes on Farrah’s Cancer Cause

Ryan O’Neal guested in Piers Morgan’s show where he gave his theory as to the true cause of Farrah Fawcett’s cancer. Fawcett and O’Neal were romantically involved from 1979 to 1997. They took up where they left off in 2001 and were together until Fawcett’s demise in 2009. O’Neal suggested that the stress from dealing with him and his family caused the actress’ illness. Fawcett was known to lead a healthy lifestyle when she was diagnosed with cancer. She did have many family problems including the incarceration of her only child Redmond for drug charges. O’Neal currently stars in a reality show with erstwhile estranged daughter Tatum O’Neal.

Miss California wins the Miss USA pageant. Redhead Alyssa Campanella took home the crown without sparking any controversy. This year has been tame compared to the year of the gay marriage non-believer Carrie Préjean or the year of the pole dancing Rima Fakih. Of course, Préjean who was Miss California didn’t actually win, but we all remember her better than the actual winner whose name I’ll google now… Kristen Dalton. Campanella competed in 2007 for Miss Teen USA as Miss Teen New Jersey. She was the first runner-up. Should she be able to hold on to her crown, she’ll compete in the Miss Universe pageant in Brazil.

The latest invention made its debut at the San Diego County Fair. This is where fried food madman Charlie Boghosian sold 5 Fried Kool Aid blobs per serving. The idea may be revolting, but it immediately caught fire. People said it tasted tangy at first and finished up really sweet. It’s great fair food, but you have to wonder how you’ll suffer later. What will they think of next?

 

Natalie Portman Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

The dream girl of all Star Wars geeks out there is a grown woman. There’s no denying that Natalie Portman has moved on from her Queen Amidallah role. She’s definitely at a wonderful time in her life. First, she is cast in a movie with Oscar potentials, then she falls in love with a man she works with. The movie comes out, she becomes engaged and gets pregnant. Later, she also wins an Oscar. To make everything dandier, she also gives birth to a son. Everything seems to be going right in that world.
