Adolescence is a very intriguing part of a person’s life. This is where one starts to inhibit the traits of being violent or emotionally unstable. That when a teenager feels important or visible in his/her family, he/she would be less engaged in physical violence rather than those who feels insignificant.  Dr. Gregory Elliot, a sociologist at Brown University, said that mattering teenagers would affect their self-esteem. If you show great or less importance to a teenager, this would determine his/.her belief in his/her capabilities and self-awareness.
