Kobe Bryant started his NBA career in 1996 at the age of 18. He was the 13th overall pick during the1996 NBA Draft. His father, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant used to play for the Philadelphia 76ers. Kobe spent 8 years in Italy when his father decided to move the family when he was 6 to continue playing professional basketball. Kobe is fluent in both Italian and Spanish. Aside from basketball, he’s also a skilled soccer player. He’s been married to his wife, Vanessa Marie since 2002 and they have two kids.
