Rock Icon: Mick Jagger

It’s safe to claim that one of the foundations of the rock n’ roll scene is British band, The Rolling Stones.  Frontman, Mick Jagger will always be one of the unforgettable faces of the music scene.  Jagger was born in Dartford, Kent, England in 1943 to a middle class family. Though he was always into singing, he initially just wanted to become either a journalist or a politician.  He studied business at the London School of Economics around the same time his childhood friend, Keith Richards and Brian Jones were starting a rhythm and blues band. Jagger is a huge fan of American band, The Beach Boys and said that “I Get Around” is one of the best songs he’s ever heard in his life.  He sidelines these days as a producer and he’s the founder of Jagged Films.
