71 year-old, Peter Fonda got hitched for the third time over the weekend in Hawaii. The “Easy Rider” star who was married for thirty-six years to Portia Rebecca Crockett, got divorced early this year. He married girlfriend, Margaret Devogelaere in Hawaii over the weekend, according to his reps. Peter is the son of the late Henry Fonda and brother to Jane Fonda. Back in the sixties, he was the icon of “counterculture,” he was widely known for being non-conforming. He was arrested in 1966 for his anti-war activities participation and most recently he made news for calling President Obama a traitor. The actor who’s never had trouble expressing his often eccentric sentiments was friends with the Beatles and even came up with the line, “I know what it’s like to be dead,” of the song, “She Said, She said.” The actor almost died when he was 10 years old after accidentally shooting himself in the stomach.
