Michael J. Fox celebrates his 50th birthday. The Canadian actor who’s been fighting Parkinson’s disease bravely since the nineties is a strong advocate in raising awareness about the condition. Fox was one of the biggest idols of the eighties and will forever be remembered for his role in the hit movie franchise, “Back to the Future” as Marty Mcfly. He revived his TV career in the nineties through “Spin City.” In 2000 however, he was forced to leave the show because of his worsening condition. Charlie Sheen took over until the show wrapped. Both actors won Emmy’s for the show. Fox’s most recent TV gig was the “Good Wife” which stars Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth.
