Guitarists all over the world must have shed atear of gratitude as they took a moment to remember the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. Credited for the invention of many recording innovations, he’s most known for his development of the solid-body electric guitar. Without this invention, the sound of rock and roll wouldn’t have been possible. A great musician through and through, Paul kept on rocking until the ripe old age of 94. He fully retired from the scene upon his death in 2009. His legacy truly lives on.
