Highly unconventional singer Lady Gaga finds new controversy in the banning of her latest album “Born This Way” in Lebanon. Included in the track list is a song called “Judas”, which is creating much uproar in certain religious sects. Lebanon, a predominantly Muslim nation, has prohibited the sale of the album in the country. Police confiscated copies at the airport before they could go any farther. Song lines such as “I’m just a holy fool, but I’m still in love with Judas,” displeased many. Catholic Church officials in Lebanon declared the album offensive to Christians and made a firm stand not to tolerate it. Incidentally, Lady Gaga whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was raised as a Roman Catholic. If you like this story, you should watch Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” video.
